George Rodger

A founder member of Magnum,
George Rodger is as famous for his photographic documentation of African life as for his domestic coverage of the Blitz in the UK. His strikingly humanitarian work and personal integrity mark him out as a key figure in the history of photojournalism. Published by all the major picture magazines in his lifetime, he has been the subject of numerous prestigious exhibitions around the world.
